Storm Services provided multiple sites in Arkansas and at Churchill Downs in Louisville, Kentucky.

2008

Hurricane Dolly
A complete base camp was set up in McAllen, Texas.

Hurricane Gustav & Ike
Sites ran simultaneously in two states. Mobile sleeper units and tent sites were staged in Mississippi and Louisiana. Staging site setups were only for a day, allowing power crews to remain in safe locations prior to the storm. The staging sites were then moved to the destruction zones just after storms made landfall, permitting a quick response. Operations lasted approximately one month.


2007

Tornado
A complete base camp site was set up in Americus, Georgia.

2005

Hurricane Dennis
Supplies were provided.

Hurricane Katrina
Multiple base camps were set up throughout the State of Mississippi. Crews maintained coastal area sites for over a month. In New Orleans, Louisiana, over one million meals were prepared daily at the American Red Cross site.
