WE'RE MOVING WEST
It’s no secret that Storm Services was founded in the south but ladies and gentlemen, we are moving west!
I recently had the opportunity to visit a few of our West Coast clients with my parents, Ann and Tommy Hopkins, and David Dent, our Region Manager for Storm Services Engineering. At times, we stuck out like a sore thumb…probably from using phrases like “yall” along with our thick southern accents. Luckily, the people of the west welcomed us with open arms, both literally and figuratively.

SAFETY CERTIFICATION COURSE COMPLETED
At Storm Services, our commitment is always “Safety First.” Recently, a group of team members based out of our Alabama facility successfully completed a ten hour OSHA Safety Certification Course. The course was conducted by Meridian Community College Workforce Development.
SAVE THE DATE
Our 2016 Base Camp Exercise will take place on Thursday, June 9th in York, Alabama. This is a great time to tour our facility, walk through our equipment, and meet our team members. All of our customers are invited to attend and can email TOMMY@STORMSL.COM to sign up.
UNFORGETTABLES
In the beginning, our office was located about five miles from our home. However, after working Hurricane Katrina, we learned that our office needed to be in our home since storms don’t take place during “regular” work hours. Shortly after Hurricane Katrina, we set up our home office so we would be available to our customers at all times.

MEET OUR TEAM MEMBERS
Meet Maria Gonzalez Salinas! Maria is from Lauderdale, Mississippi, and works in the janitorial department at our facility in York, Alabama, where we design and fabricate our own equipment. Since we have put in place rigid standards for maintenance, Maria’s job is one of the most important jobs at our company. All equipment and inventory items are kept in their cleanest, best working condition.
