MEET OUR TEAM MEMBERS
Meet one of our newest Storm Services Engineering team members, Tim Adam! He will be assisting Charlie Hartsfield, who oversees our Line Crew and Tree Trimming Divisions. Tim will also take a lead in safety with the company.
Prior to joining the Storm Services family, Tim served as the Director of Safety and Training for Chain Electric. In addition to working with employees, he also worked with various Transmission and Distribution Customers, Organizational Effectiveness consultants, and Safety and Training consultants. Before his role at Chain Electric, Tim was the Manager of Safety and Training with Mississippi Power Company.
While at Mississippi Power Company, Tim was responsible for the health and safety of all employees. During his fourteen years there, Tim had such roles as the Distribution Control Center Supervisor, Area Manager of the Customer Service Organization, Line Construction and Maintenance Supervisor, and Journeyman Lineman. Prior to that, Tim worked with Coast Electric Power Association for fourteen years in such roles as Journeyman Lineman and Lead Lineman.
Tim currently serves on the advisory council for the Institute for Safety in Powerline Construction and the contractor safety advisory board for Entergy Corporation. He is a past board member of the Stone County Economic Development Partnership, where he served as Vice President of the board, and the Stone/Wiggins Recreation Association Board. Tim also served as the Chair Person for the Stone County Economic Development Partnership Industrial Committee and committee member of the Stone/Harrison Accelerate to 2060 Study.
Tim, who served in the Army National Guard from 1991 to 1996, has a degree in Business with an emphasis in Management from Columbia Southern University. He is a graduate of Mississippi Power’s Leadership Development Program, and holds several certifications, including Certified Occupational Safety Manager (COSM) and Certified Utility Safety Professional (CUSP). Tim is also an OSHA outreach trainer.
Tim and his wife, Sophie, live in Wiggins, Mississippi. They have three children and two grandchildren. Please join us in welcoming Tim to the team!
